CCM came out with the EFlex 6.9 chest protector in the 2023 season. Its purpose is to serve as a lightweight protector for goalies but also to keep goalies cool and dry through the Aer-Tec ventilation system which can be found on many CCM chest protectors. This pad also feature compression-molded HD/LD foams to keep you protected, secured and covered from impacts.

External Material

The external material of this chest & arm protector features CCM's Aer-Tec ventilation system which is a mobile design with added breathability. The perforated foams and abrasion-resistant mesh design also provide extra breathability, keeping goalies cool and dry.

Internal Foams

The EFlex E6.9 uses molded HD foams in the clavicle/sternum area to provide great impact protection and additional level of support. The chest and rib areas are protected and covered with multi-segmented HD/LD ventilation foams. These foams have extended impact protection & coverage with added breathability which is optimized for protection, allowing goaltenders to move around in.

Shoulder Caps

The pads feature a compression-molded HD foam in the shoulders which is designed for optimized protection. They also have a quick-release velcro adjustment with flexmotion design that is easy to customize and moves with you.

Arm Protection

The arms are protected with compressions molded HD foam which is designed to provide goaltenders from impacts of all sorts. On-top of that, it is designed to keep goalies from feeling restricted, allowing them to have better mobility.

Elbow Caps

The elbows are independently adjustable and include comfort fit caps to ensure great mobility and a personalized fit.

Back Straps

The E6.9 chest protector features 2 back clips on either side to put the unit on. These clips are protected by high-density foam pads, which reduces breakage from puck impacts. The senior variation is also held up with CCM’s new Aer-Tec Suspension system, which keeps the gear held away from the body to allow for greater airflow throughout the pads.
